KTP Racquet Club is excited to be working with local schools to support badminton development in the area. We will be hosting tournaments for grade 4 to 8 athletes. For most this may be their first introduction to badminton, especially in a tournament format. The grade 7-8 tournament is during the school day, schools/teachers must register their team. As there are a number of Grade 4-6 tournaments being hosted this season, we are hosting a 1-day Grade 4-6 tournament on a Saturday this year

Elementary School Tournament - Saturday, April 22, 2023

• Categories: Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6 - Boys and Girls Singles

• Entry Fee:  $15/person (taxes included)

• Date: Saturday, April 22, 2023 - start times will vary based on the number of participants per age group

• Location: KTP Racquet Club, 300 Lakeshore Dr, North Bay

• Format: Round Robin Qualifier with Playoffs (guaranteed 3 matches per person)

• Awards:  Medals for top 3 per event

• Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 19th, 2023

• Equipment: Safety glasses are a requirement and must be worn at all times on the court. Seeing glasses are permitted. We will have some safety glasses to sell and to lend on site.

• Shuttle: Nylon shuttles
