Court Rental

All courts may be rented in blocks of 1-hour, 1.5 hour, or 2-hour sessions. For more frequent users, or those looking to take advantage of our member benefits, an annual membership is recommended (benefits listed below). The annual membership is $60 (taxes included).

Prime Time Hours: Weekdays after 4PM, and Weekends
Non-Prime Time Hours: Weekdays before 4PM

Long-Term Rentals

If you are looking to book weekly courts consistently, and want to secure your court week-to-week, a Long-Term Rental (LTR) is recommended. This also saves members from making payments each week, as they will pay a lump sum in advance to secure the court.

How does it work?
Simply select the period that you would like to reserve for, make a payment for the reservation in advance, and your court is secured!

Long-Term Rental Policies

  • Only members can make LTRs.

  • LTRs may be booked up to 4 weeks in advance of your first rental.

  • Payment in full must be made in advance to secure a LTR.

  • Any Non-Member coming with a Member for a LTR must pay the $3/hour non-member fee.

  • A LTR may be made for a maximum of 12 weeks.

  • Those with an existing LTR will have until the final 4 weeks of their current rental to confirm an extension, and must make payment within 2 weeks of the next rental period.

  • KTP reserves the right to cancel any LTR at any time. Extensions or credits will be offered.

Membership Benefits

  • Can reserve courts up to 7 days in advance (only 4 days for non-members).

  • Can make Long-Term Rentals.

  • Exclusive use of the workout area.

  • Instantly makes you a member of Badminton Ontario.

  • Sport-Accident coverage through Badminton Ontario (both badminton and pickleball)

  • Discounts on private and group lessons, camps and other programs.

  • Eligible to participate in the annual Club Championships.

  • Access to special events and members only sales.

KTP Racquet Club Code of Conduct

 

KTP Racquet Club always promotes a positive environment, fair play, fun, and good sportsmanship. We seek to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests.

 

All people that enter our facility must abide by the following Code of Conduct or will be asked to leave immediately.

 

  • Everyone will respect one another and treat others equally regardless of age, ability, gender, race, religion, ethnic origin, social status or sexual orientation.

  • Everyone will respect all front desk staff, coaches and volunteers.

  • Zero tolerance for damage or abuse to the facility and equipment.

  • Zero tolerance for insulting, abusive or profane language.

  • Zero tolerance for harassment of any kind.

  • Zero tolerance for racquet or paddle abuse.

  • All will uphold good standards of sportsmanship.

  • All will play within the laws of the game and respect officials and their decisions.

  • Respect allotted court time for reservations, drop-ins, and training.

Club Policies & Etiquette

 

All people that enter our facility must abide by the club policies and etiquette.

Failure to respect these rules may result in expulsion from the club.

  • Clean, non-marking, indoor court shoes are always required upon entering the facility. ABSOLUTELY NO OUTDOOR SHOES are accepted beyond the main entrance.

  • Players must supply their own balls or shuttles.

  • Do not rally against the walls at any times.

  • Do not move the benches or bleachers at any time.

  • Anyone under the age of 10 that comes to play must be accompanied by an adult (unless it is for a lesson).
  • Parking is only permitted in the designated areas, or you are at risk of being towed. Please view the parking map on the Contact Us page.

  • When playing pickleball, please loudly and immediately call out “BALL” when your ball rolls onto another court.

  • Wait until play has ended before walking around or behind courts (both for badminton and pickleball). Move quickly once play has ended.

  • Respect the drop-in rules and rotation set in place.

  • Anyone that moves a ball barrier must put them back in the designated areas before leaving.

  • If you do not know how to setup the net, please ask the front desk.

 

 

Court Rental Policies

  • Court Rentals may be made up to 7-days (on the hour) in advance for members and 4-days in advance for non-members.

  • All non-member bookings must be paid in advance via e-transfer to secure the booking.

  • Anyone who has rented a court must check-in at the front desk before heading to a court, to confirm attendance and make any outstanding payments.

  • Any court rentals that are cancelled within less than 24 hours will be charged the court fee in full, this includes no-shows.

  • The person who made the court booking must check-in their party at the front desk, this applies to both members and non-members.

  • A maximum of 6 people may use a rented court.

Locker Rentals

  • Only members can rent lockers.

  • All members that are renting a locker must supply their own lock.

  • If all lockers have been rented, you may request to be added to our waiting list.

  • Locker Fees:

    • 1-month = $10 (taxes included)

    • 12-month = $50 (taxes included)
