KTP Racquet Club is proud to be hosting North Bay's only junior badminton tournament! We are excited to continue promoting badminton in our area, and maintain its growth.

2025-26 Junior Badminton Tournaments: #1 - Nov 7-8, 2025 - #2 - Jan 16-17, 2026

 

Tournament details are as follows:

 

• Categories: U13 - singles only (born in 2014 or sooner), U15 (born in 2012 or sooner), U17 (born in 2010 or sooner) & U19 (born in 2007 or sooner) events; Girl's Singles & Doubles, Boy's Singles & Doubles, Mixed Doubles

• Entry Fee:  $50 for 1st event, $10 for second event, $10 for third event (taxes included)

• Schedule: U13/15/17/19 singles on Friday, U15/17/19 (doubles and mixed doubles on Sat). Start times to be determined once entries have been collected. Event can start during the day on Friday, and will start at 9AM on Saturday at the earliest.

• Location: KTP Racquet Club, 300 Lakeshore Dr, North Bay

• Format: Main round and consolation draws (guaranteed 2 matches per person per event)

• Awards:  Medals for top 3 in main draw and consolation

• Registration Deadline: Tournament #1: Friday, October 31, 2025. Tournament #2: Friday, January 9, 2026

• Equipment: In all doubles events, safety glasses are a requirement and must be worn at all times on the court. Seeing glasses are permitted.

• Shuttle: Feather Shuttles, maximum 2 per match will be provided. Plastic shuttles may be used only if both players agree.
