Badminton Socials

Badminton Socials are a new initiative to coordinate consistent adult group play where you can sign-up alone or with friends, and get to play badminton matches with others and meet new people. The Badminton Socials are targeted towards beginner and intermediate players, new and experienced players are welcome. We are focused on maintaining small group sizes to ensure maximum play time. Badminton Socials require a minimum of 6 participants, with a maximum of 12 participants.​

​Socials are scheduled in sessions that last 12 weeks. Those signing up are committing to that period of time to ensure consistency at the Socials. Racquets and shuttles are provided.

KTP Racquet Club Code of Conduct

 

KTP Racquet Club always promotes a positive environment, fair play, fun, and good sportsmanship.

​

Failure to respect the KTP Racquet Club Code of Conduct may result in expulsion from the club.

​

  • Everyone will respect one another and treat others equally regardless of age, ability, gender, race, religion, ethnic origin, social status or sexual orientation.

  • Everyone will respect all front desk staff, coaches and volunteers.

  • Zero tolerance for damage or abuse to the facility and equipment.

  • Zero tolerance for insulting, abusive or profane language.

  • Zero tolerance for harassment of any kind.

  • Zero tolerance for racquet or paddle abuse.

  • All will uphold good standards of sportsmanship.

  • All will play within the laws of the game and respect officials and their decisions.​

Club Policies & Etiquette

 

Failure to respect the club policies and etiquette may result in expulsion from the club.

  • Clean, non-marking shoes are required on the court surface. Playing in bare feet is prohibited.

  • Outdoors shoes must be removed upon entry to the club.
  • Guests assume personal risk and the club is not responsible for injuries.

  • Food and drink are not permitted on the court surface.

  • Playing against the wall is prohibited.

  • Respect allotted court times. Leave the court once your time is complete.

  • Call out “BALL” loudly and immediately when your ball rolls on to another court.

  • Wait until play has ended before walking around courts.

  • Do not move posts, nets, benches or bleachers.​

  • Court rentals that are cancelled within less than 24 hours will be charged the full court fee.​​

  • All payments must be made before using the courts.
