KTP Racquet Club will be hosting an annual Club Championships that is exclusive for members of the club. We will be hosting both a badminton and pickleball club championships. The details for each are listed below. To register for either event, please send us an email or register at the front desk.

Badminton Club Championships

 

• Age Groups: U13 (born in 2013 or sooner), U15 (born in 2011 or sooner), U17 (born in 2009 or sooner),

• U19 (born in 2006 or sooner), Open (any age), and O35 (over 35) events

• Events: Girl's/Women's Singles & Doubles, Boy's/Men's Singles & Doubles, Mixed Doubles (No U13 or U17 doubles events)

• Entry Fee:  $40 for first event, $10 per additional event

• Date: Friday, May 8 (singles) and Saturday, May 9 (doubles and mixed). Tentative 3PM start on Friday, 9AM start on Saturday

• Format: Main round and consolation draws (guaranteed 2 matches per person per event)

• Awards:  Medals for top 3 in main round and top 2 in consolation

• Registration Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026

• Eligibility: Participants must have a club membership.

• Equipment: All people aged 18 or less must wear protective eyewear in doubles and mixed doubles events. Seeing glasses are permitted.

• Shuttle: 2 feather shuttles will be provided for all matches, however if both players agree, plastic shuttles may be used (which we will supply).

Pickleball Club Championships

 

• Age Groups: Open (any age), and O50 (over 50) events

• Events: Men's and Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles

• Entry Fee:  $40 for 1st event, $10 for second event

• Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026

• Format: Round Robin with Playoffs (guaranteed 3 matches per person per event)

• Awards:  Medals for top 3

• Registration Deadline: Friday, April 24, 2026

• Eligibility: Participants must have a club membership.
